This next story is similar to a phenomenon that Rush has talked about. Rush likes to read the headlines that say something to the effect: “SUV kills 8 on Interstate 10″. As if the SUV were in itself a living and breathing thing. The stories very rarely mention the people driving the SUV’s. If someone from outer space were to land and pick up the paper, they would think there were roaming herds of these SUV’s destroying all they see.
