This Guy Has Problems

I know I should not be surprised by the bile that Pat Oliphant serves up, but his latest cartoon is disgusting.



At first glance it is just the typical attack on Republicans for DARING to cut the funding for Public Broadcasting. But look at the bottom right. There is Pat’s little creature saying: “Sometimes they think of pillage, rape and destroy.”

Wow, he just said the Republicans think about pillaging, raping people and destroying things. Yes, America, he did. I wonder what his excuse will be? I suppose I am taking something out of context, right? Somehow I don’t see how I could possibly take that out of context. So I shall revert to my favorite saying in cases like this:

Bastard.

    Note that this cartoon is a reference to a classic dirty joke, a variant on which is “What a long tongue you have” “The better to eat you with my dear.”
