Today we had WunderKid 1’s birthday party. He turned five last week and so we had his party today. In WunderTown today it was 96 degrees with 70% humidity. That meant it felt like 110 degrees. Ouch it was hot. In order to have any sort of birthday party outside this time of year, you need water. Well that is just what we did.

The coolest water slide!

This thing was awesome. For $130, they come set the thing up, let you use it for four hours and then they come and take it down for you. No work on my part. We had a great time. Yes, I got on the thing too. Everyone would yell for me to slide down every now and then to “wash out” the pool at the bottom. Apparently, my large mass would displace large amounts of water from the pool, carrying along a lot of the grass and what not that had accumulated. Other than the occasional WunderKraut Show, I perched myself at the top of the thing doing crowd control. Hey, I did not want a claim on my homeowners insurance!
