I love video games. Yes, I know I am a bit old, but I still love them. I mainly like first person shooters and strategy games. I have never cared much for fantasy games or being buffed +3 with the Sword of Dark Sorrow or stuff like that. Give me a good war sim or a good WWII shooter (MOH or better yet COD) and I am a happy person. Getting old has left me behind on the learning curve. All these young punk teens and pre-teens know so much more about computers than I ever care to, but I have to play against them. Just learning their jargon is hard enough, but dealing with immature cry babies is worse. Yeah, I fragged you in the head with my BAR, no it is not a hack, I am good, deal with it.

Anyway, in the spirit of this post, I found a great, wonderful, tremendous post by Ace of Spades. The post is a mock up of a Real Time Strategy game (RTS) of World War II. Each of the big players in the war have a screen name and the conversation that ensues pretty much sums up EVERY RTS game out there and what us old guys have to put up with each time we play. Very funny post.

Also, I posted this link a long time ago about a perfect war sim. You have to go read it. If you have ever played ANY online game, you will appreciate it.
