Update: The Washington Times has a great editorial today concerning this subject.

Great. Just great. So Drudge is reporting that the New York Times has been digging for dirt on Judge Roberts. Nothing new there. Kind of figured they would do that.

But…

They have been trying to dig up dirt on the adoption of his two children. That is about as low as one can go to try to undermine a person.

I am so angry about this that it is taking every ounce of control I have to keep from spinning out of control and letting many curse words fly from my keyboard.

Bastards.

WunderWife and I are in the process of adopting our daughter from China. The thought that the country’s largest, most prestigious newspaper would one day try to get their hands on information concerning our adoption is creepy at the least and infuriating at best.

When will the American people wake up and see the Democrats for what they really are? They have nothing on this nominee, so they look into the adoption of his two kids and insinuate that he is gay. Breathtaking.

I got this story from Ace of Spades.

I like his “words of advise” for the New York Times:

Surely there are dirty little secrets our noble press corps wouldn’t want let out of the bag about them…?

There’s a Shadow Media out there, kiddies. And we can get tips and make confirmatory phone-calls the same as you.

And do a lot of digging and publish embarrassing stories about personal matters, same as you, only about you.

Y’all really ready to play by the same rules you torment the rest of us with?

There used to be a line. Apparently no longer. Fair enough.

As usual, he nails it. I hope that their circulation declines even further after this incident.

Amazing column by the Wahington Times about the “witch-hunting” organized by the New York Times against the judge John Roberts, nominated by President Bush to substitute Sandra O’Connor at the Supreme Court. It’s worth remembering that without the …

Sleazy and trtashy are words that have gone well with the NYT for 85 years. Still do in 05; nothing changed.

[...] Judge Roberts – actually I have written one post on him. But other than that, I am leaving him alone. I think he will be a great Justice and he should be confirmed. What I am not looking forward to is the MSM and the Senate Democrats continual character assassination of the man. See point above about uncontrollable fits. [...]
