Hog On Ice has a great take down of Cindy Sheehan. You know, she is the lady whose son was killed in Iraq and now she is blaming Bush for his death and is waiting outside Crawford, TX to meet the President to get an apology. Sad story, but this lady is off her rocker.

A few background points:

Last year, the President met with her, and she came out of the meeting and praised him. Now she says he treated it like a big joke. You know what, lady? Your fifteen minutes are UP. I’m sorry you feel like President Bush jilted you. Yes, it’s sad that you couldn’t turn your son’s death into a lifetime of joyful, satisfying martyrdom. That’s life. Get on the bus and go home.

That about sums up this lady. She already has had one meeting with Bush and by the accounts of the other families present, she is now lying about what Bush said and how he acted.

This story has been covered by almost the entire blogsphere, both left and right. So why post about it? Only because of this paragraph from Hogs post:

I know I’ll get hollered at for criticizing women again, but I’ll say it anyway. A neurotic woman will crave attention the way Whitney Houston craves crack. I think it’s their way of making up for the fact that when they were little girls, their fathers didn’t see them the precious little princesses they thought they were. I’ve seen it a thousand times. And the second you give a woman like that a little leverage, like a disease or the death of a loved one or ANY type of victimization by a man, you end up with a woman who turns martyrdom into a career.

Ouch! Remember he is not talking about ALL women. He is talking about NEUROTIC women. Big difference.

The lady is a real peice of work. I sometimes wonder how her son would feel if he saw how she is carying on.
