For those of you who think my previous post was a little pre-mature (I don’t but you are entitled to your own opinion) I give you:

Is Global Warming Fueling Katrina?

Well, it took less than 24 hours to blame this on global warming. Which I am sure means that it is Bush’s fault because he pulled out of a treaty that was rejected by the U.S. Senate by a vote of 95-0.

Look, maybe there is global warming. I am even willing to believe that it MAY be caused by human intervention. But even with all those maybes New Orleans was a disaster waiting to happen. Everyone knew it. If a lesser intensity storm had hit New Orleans dead on, similar results could have been expected.

You CAN NOT keep a city that is below sea level alive forever. There will be a large enough storm and there will be enough failures to cause the whole thing to go tits up. That is a fact.
