Still, you gotta admit, that’s pretty darned funny.

  2. on 12 Sep 2005 at 2:31 pm Mr. Bingley

The funniest part is the guys looting in the backround.

    ‘Borrowing’ I mean.

Every one knows that striper respond better to spoons in foggy weather. Those photoshoppers need to get their act togather.

  4. on 12 Sep 2005 at 2:31 pm WunderKraut

    Yes it is.

But I was not going to be the insensitive one to say it first. But now that you have. Yes, I laughed out loud when I saw it!

Girls Gone Stupid: Video of Landrieu’s Retarded Interview

Check out how she keeps saying the buses couldn’t have evacuated people, because, as the photo shows, they were underwater, and how Bush only spent more than Clinton on Gulf-area flood control because Bush had these big surpluses. Also, it’s…

Those guys in the background aren’t looting, they’re chasing down another fish to put on George’s hook.

  7. on 12 Sep 2005 at 3:09 pm PeterArgus

I hope he was catch and releasing. No way that fish meets the minimum. And what the hell is a striper (no not stripper I know why she’d be there) doing in the Gulf?

Oh that’s too rich! Ooops… POOR choice of words.

Dave, too funny! You know the kids at Kos say that everytime the news shows Bush fishing. I bet when he plays golf there is a some intern/aid that is hiding in the woods that will toss his “real” ball out to the fairway.

    I think it’s a hoot.

    (Or is that LOOT?)

    Envy: Open Season

It looks like it is now open season on New Orleans jokes.

  12. on 12 Sep 2005 at 4:13 pm Cullen

I thought South Park determined we were supposed to wait 27 years or something like that … ? Eh, it’s funny.

  13. on 12 Sep 2005 at 5:53 pm Sean

I’m not sure if it’s sad or funny, but that picture has already started appearing plastered on the street in New York City.

The left instinctively hate’s the President so much that their immediate reaction to an obvious photoshop job is to believe it.

Is that sad or funny? I can’t tell no mo’.

    >The funniest part is the guys looting in the backround.

There were no “looters” in New Orleans. The correct term is “freedom fighters”.

    I don’t see any TV’s……

    Hey George:
    Are you gonna eat that?

  17. on 12 Sep 2005 at 10:46 pm Nightfly

Sean – they don’t believe it as literal truth. It’s “fake but accurate” all over again, an icon of Chimphitler McHalliburton.

(Gosh – he has so many insult terms that I can’t even fit the President’s NAME in there…)

The “left” or as they like to be called “the rest of the internet” probably got tired of it a couple of days ago. I know I did.

[...] The most recent link I have gotten was with Ace of Spades this past Monday afternoon. Again, it was a throw away link. I thought it was funny and I took a chance and whored it around. Ace picked it up and he gave what is the shining example of an Uber-Funnel Link: Okay, I Admit It, This Looks Bad: Bush really shouldn’t have posed for this picture. [...]
