So I am reading CNN today. No shock there. I tend to start my day reading the headlines there.

I clicked on the continuing saga of the Mohamed cartoons and the “Religion of Peace”.

The article was about calls for British police to begin arresting Muslim demonstrators who have been advocating violence with such “Religion of Peace” standbys as:

Massacre those who insult Islam

Europe you will pay, your 9/11 will come

Yeah, that sounds like advocating violence to me. They should be locked up.

At the end of the article they had this little disclaimer:

To repeat my title, CNN: Spineless Bastards!

CNN has chosen to not show the cartoons out of respect for Islam.

Bull Sh*t! Respect for Islam my ass! Where was CNN when Christ was being dipped in urine? Where was CNN when the Virgin Mary was covered in elephant dung? Oh yeah, they reported on it, as they should have AND they showed a picture, as they should have.

So why not show the supposedly offensive cartoons of Mohamed? They reported on it, just like the dung covered Virgin Mary, but no pictures. They did not refrain from showing a dung covered Virgin Mary “out of respect for Catholics.” Gee, I wonder why that is?

Double standard? What double standard?

For you poor CNN readers who can only imagine what vile images of Mohamed have sparked the riots and caused CNN not to publish them, here they are in all their glory.

So is CNN really that sensitive to Islam and not to Christianity? Or are they plain scared?

Also, just in case CNN changes things: here is the screen shot with their note about respect for Islam and here is the screen shot of the Dung Virgin Mary.

CNN: Yes to Dung Covered Mary, No to Cartoon Muhammed…

It’s not so much that I blame CNN for not running the controversial Muhammed cartoon, as much as I wish they’d be just a tad bit more honest about it. They claim they won’t run the picturs out of religious……

News Organizations, A Bit Disingenuous Over Mohammed Cartoons Controversy?…

Are news organizations being disingenuous about why they aren’t showing cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed? That’s what the Jawa Report and Wunderkraut are discussing today.

CNN, acknowledging its own hypocrisy, changed the excuse now to the following:

“CNN is not showing the negative caricatures of the likeness of Prophet Mohammed because the network believes its role is to cover the events surrounding the publication of the cartoons while not unnecessarily adding fuel to the controversy itself.”

Adnan sounds more like an ak-Med to me. Why not just say “I hit upon you with many insults and shoes! Infadels of unclean pig dog!”

P.S. Adnan was also wrong on every statement in his poorly -written rant.

If a Christian didn’t care about Maty and Jesus, why bother being a Christian at all? I don’t believe it’s possible to be a Christian if you think Mary was a whore.

What verses are you referring to that “were” added to the Bible and who added them?

Priests now “allow” gay marriages? Really? Which church is that? Did these same priests also change state laws to make these unions legal?

You are listening to Bin Laden a wee bit too much there Akmed, er…Adnan.
