Hamas Refuses To Recognize Israel

Mind you, they refuse to even RECOGNIZE Israel and its right to exist. And these are the people the rest of the world wants Israel to negotiate with?

“Hamas does not recognize Israel and we won’t accept anybody in the world forcing us into a corner,” Hamas politburo chief Khaled Meshaal told journalists in Cairo.

Ace has a post about this as well. But he adds:

European leaders immediately hailed Hamas’ “brave and generous offer to continue murdering Israelis in exchange for accepting more of their land.”

It may be fake, but somehow I am willing to bet a weeks pay that within a few weeks something very similar will be said.

Bizaro-Wednesday

Sounds great doesn’t it? I mean, many people on the Right and Left feel that Israel should give up parts of the occupied territories if not all of them. But when we say “occupied territories” we mean the land Israel acquired after 1967. For Israel before 1967 see here. For Israel now see here.

BUT

When a Palestinian says “occupied territories” they mean ALL of Israel. It is a way of trying to calm the cash cows of Europe and America without actually giving up their real goal, the destruction of Israel.
