You ever get that feeling that you will never finish all the little projects around your house? Tonight it hit me. There are a bunch of things I need/want to do around here.
For starters, I need to pick a color paint to go above the chair rail in my hallway. I have two gallons of the brownish color left over from the living room and I think it looks nice for the bottom paneling. I need to repaint the trim, but I like the shade of white I have, but what to paint the top 2/3′s of the wall? A green? A beige? What? Please help:

(BTW…yes that is some of my childrens “art” on the door, wall and trim. You should see the rest of the hall. I should just frame it.)
Yeah, I also need to replace the doorknob on the hall closet. Somehow one of the kids locked it, and I had to take it apart to unlock it. Things never were the same, so I took it off…it’s been like that for a year…*sigh*
Now onto my yard. I need to cut down the mini-tree growing in my boxwood hedge. I see it EVERYDAY when I drive up in the evening….grrr:

Seriously, how hard would it be for me to get out of my truck, walk the 20 feet to my shed, grab my pruning shears, walk the 50 feet to the hedge, bend over and cut the darn thing?
Also, I have a vine from the pit of hell. I usually get it before it gets this bad, but it is beginning to take over my carport. Geesh, it would be on the way to the shed…

My swing in my backyard needs some serious help. Back in 2005, we had two hurricanes come through town. One of them blew off part of my swing’s roof:

It has seen better days and I just need to knock it down and either build a new one…yeah right…or just buy a free standing one with a roof from Lowe’s…more like it.
Now to my shed. I have two sheds in my backyard. One is a workshop currently inhabited by spiders and roaches and the other is my equipment shed.

Notice anything missing? Yeah, so like, termites ATE the freaking doorframe. It must have been some good wood, because they have pretty much left the rest of the shed alone, but they ate the doorframe and the door had to come down. I need a door. I had a nest of squirrels in there this winter.
The area between my to sheds had its roof cave in this winter as well:

I kept telling myself to fix it before it got hot. Too late for that.
And finally, I need to pressure wash my siding:

Yes, that says wash me…on my house…
I need to clone myself a few times…yeah I know they get dumber with each copy, but how hard can it be to pressure wash the house or to cut vines?
Apparently very hard…

What cracks me up is that you have time to take pictures of it all and post about it on your blog. Ha! Thank you for making me feel better about my own undone to-do list.
I know, sad isn’t it. But hey, blogging is fun…working around the house…not so much.
