We had a heavy freeze (aka South Georgia Snow) last night, which is early this year. That is actually a good thing. See, we’ve had some mild winters around here which have been great in regards to heating costs and playing outside, but the only way to cut the mosquito and gnat population down is to freeze the suckers.

30 degrees is very cold for this time of year. Heck for any time of year down here. I’m glad I’m not on a deer stand this morning, though I imagine those that endured the cold were warmly rewarded as the acorns are heavy on the ground and the moon is only a 1/4 moon.
