Most of you have probably heard of the teacher in Sudan who has been accused, tried and convicted of blaspheming the Prophet Mohammed.
What did she do?
Did she dip a Koran in urine? Nope.
Did she smear dung all over a revered icon? Nope.
She allowed her students to name a teddy bear, yes a FREAKING teddy bear, Mohammed.
That’s it.
For this she was convicted of blasphemy.
From Ms. Malkin:
British teacher Gillian Gibbons has been convicted of inciting religious hatred for letting her pupils name a teddy bear Muhammad and sentenced to 15 days in prison and deportation from Sudan, one of her defense lawyers said Thursday.
“The judge found Gillian Gibbons guilty and sentenced her to 15 days jail and deportation,” said Ali Mohammed Hajab, a member of her defense team.
Gee, I wonder how much jail time people here in the U.S. get for blasphemy like: Crucifix in urine, Virgin Mary covered in dung or a book saying Jesus had a wife and never was crucified….

First it was comics…comics that set them off…now it’s a teddy bear being named Mohammed.
Tell me again why I must worry about what MY country is doing to make these people hate us? They’re obviously not quite right in the head.

This war is largely animated by the outsized egotism, combined with the severe inferiority complex, of many in the Arab/Muslim world. (Yes, those two go together quite a bit.)
I’m afraid this war will not end until some people get the f*** over themselves already.

Here is where my mean streak comes out. Once I had the idea, and I still think it is a good idea, to print the Koran on a roll of toilet paper. I mean, we are all looking for something good to read while we are doing our business. And once we are finished we can put the Koran to good use. I think I could make millions off this idea. Of course I would then need those millions to protect myself and my family from islamic terrorists.
I almost forgot about your idea. If I remember, it first surfaced back during the comic uprising.
Yeah, it’s a crazy world.
