Jen took the kids to Meeks Park yesterday to play. They ended up in the creek over there which was wider and slower which made it easier for everyone.

When I got off from work, we headed to our creek where we proceeded to build a dam. It was a marvelous dam. A dam for the records. Yes, I am warping my kids early. They thought building the dam with Daddy was the best part of the day. We succeeded in raising the water behind our dam by about a foot. This gave us a bigger pool to swim in. I will try to get a picture today.
For dinner we met up with Jen’s Grandparents Beeba and PawPaw. I had dinner with them back in the fall when I first started my new job. It was a very nice dinner and they were thrilled to see their newest great-grandbaby Mei. That makes 12 (13 this fall) great-grandkids for them. It was great to see them again.

After dinner I took the family to see a beautiful mountain overlook. While I can’t deny its beauty, I still prefer the flat land of South Georgia, but this is a great place to visit.

What a lovely looking golf course!
(oh yeah, kids and family nice, blah-blah-blah)
I really want to play that course. Nothing like teeing off 100-200′ higher than the fairway…
You do have a lovely family. I’m happy for you guys! (And I’m guessing purely on looks that your younger son is walking mischief, but in a good way.
)
Charlie marches to his own beat and it makes me love him even more.
He just finished kindergarten and it was amazing to see that by the end of the year EVERY teacher and almost every kid we passed in the hall knew Charlie’s name.
I feel he is destined to do great things.
Ken will appreciate that Charlie loves math. He even took his math book on vacation so he could do problems in the car. I hope that continues because both Jen and I SUCK at math.
