My Georgia driver’s license expires in August and I received a renewal notice in the mail. Apparently, you can renew online now.

This was great news because heading down to the DMV ranks up there with root canals.

So I fired up the ol’ computer, hit the Internets and began the process.

Early on, they had a list of eligibility requirements such as citizenship, eye exam if you are old and what not. Then they had this:

No changes to license information, including name, address or gender, can be done during renewal. You must visit a Customer Service Center to renew your license in person if you want to make changes to any information during the renewal process.

Huh?

I get the first two…but…

Anyway, I qualified to renew online as I had nothing to change.
