    My dad told how he once went to stay overnight in the cabin of a family friend, an old timer mountain man type. Got woken up in the middle of the night by the sweet sound of old Buck blasting rats with a .45.

    I would think so. I think he was spotlighting them but it’s been probably 40 years since I heard the story.

    Joel shot a possum in the dining room that came up through the air conditioning vent (smart little sucker). Is that back woods? We still have the bulet hole in the wood floor of the dining room. Me? I was freaked out and standing on top of the coffee table. He then screwed ALL vents to the floor, per my request/demand!
